CAKE:

2 c. flour

2 c. sugar

2 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. salt

1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, undrained

2 eggs

1 c. chopped walnuts

 

FROSTING:

2 c. confectioners' sugar

1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese

1/2 c. butter, softened

2 tbsp. milk

1 tsp. vanilla

 

Mix all cake ingredients, pour into oblong or bundt pan.   Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until done.          Frost when cool.

24 Oreos, crushed

1/4 c. butter, melted

1/2 gal. ice cream

8 oz. Cool Whip

1/2 c. butter

1 1/2 sq. unsweetened chocolate

2/3 c. sugar

1 tsp. vanilla

2/3 c. evaporated milk

1/2 tsp. salt

 

Mix Oreos and 1/4 c. melted butter; spread in 9 x 13 inch pan and freeze until set.       Layer ice cream over crust and freeze.   Melt 1/2 cup butter and

unsweetened chocolate on low heat.   Add sugar, vanilla, milk and salt.   Bring to


a boil and cook until thickened.   Cool, pour over frozen ice cream and freeze. Spread Cool Whip topping and freeze.

 

 

 

155349   APPLE     CAKE

 

1 c. chopped walnuts

4   5 apples, peeled and diced

1 c. Crisco oil

2 c. sugar

2 tsp. vanilla

3 eggs, wellbeaten

3 c. flour

1 tsp. salt

1 tsp. baking soda

 

Mix Crisco oil, sugar, eggs.   Add dry ingredients.   Add walnuts and apples. Bake at 325 degrees for 70 minutes in tube pan.
